Deborah McNaughton

Deborah McNaughton is a nationally recognized credit expert and financial coach. She has been in the financial business for over 25 years. Deborah has been in the financial business since 1984 and is the founder of Financial Victory Institute, which specializes in credit and financial education. Deborah is a licensed real estate broker and has over 30 years of experience. With her husband Hal she also co-owns Legacy Financial Services, which specializes in mortgages and financial services.

Deborah has authored several books about credit and finances. Some of her books include, The Get Out Of Debt Kit (Kaplan Business), Financially Secure: An Easy-to-Follow Money Program for Women (Thomas Nelson Publishers), All about Credit: Questions and Answers about the Most Common Credit Problems (Kaplan Business), and The Insider’ s Guide to Managing Your Credit (Kaplan Business and Berkley Publishing). She has co-authored a book with John Avanzini titled, Have a Good Report. Recently, Deborah has released a new financial series titled Financial Victory, which consists of booklets, CDs, and pamphlets on numerous financial issues. Deborah is a monthly financial columnist for First for Women., which has a circulation of approximately two million. Several magazines and newspapers have featured and quoted Deborah including Parade, Woman’s Day, Your Money, Family Circle, Success Opportunities, Working Woman, Today’s Christian Woman, and Income Opportunities. The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Chicago Tribune, and several other news publications have quoted Deborah numerous times as an authority on credit. Melinda Weinstein

Melinda Weinstein is the cofounder of Financial Victory Institute, which specializes in credit and financial education. Melinda is the managing editor of Financial Victory, a popular online financial newsletter. She is a regular columnist for a specialty magazine, Woman’s Touch—a bimonthly publication with a circulation of approximately fourteen thousand subscribers. Melinda is the coauthor of the Financial Victory series, which consists of numerous financial booklets and pamphlets.

Melinda was in charge of A Gift for America: How to Survive a Financial Crisis project, which consists of a financial video, educational Web site, and monthly online newsletter. She has contributed financial articles to the educational Web site of a national debt management company.

Melinda has been quoted in various magazines as a credit expert, including Woman’s World, a weekly publication that has a circulation of approximately 1.6 million. She has also been interviewed on radio regarding credit and financial matters. Melinda has over nine years of experience in the mortgage industry and five years devoted to credit counseling. She has had her real estate license for the last three years. Melinda has a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University. She is Deborah McNaughton’s daughter.
